Check if your degree qualifies you for the NCIDQ exam. NCIDQ stands for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, which is what firms look for when hiring new interior designers.

It is also essential to have this qualification if you intend to start your own business as it will prove you have learned the required skills to become an interior designer.
